Value
From the moment you learn, it returns to your management.
This one year builds five kinds of capital in your career, all at once.
What changes with completion.
The value of this MBA does not stop at the completion certificate. The year you spend, working alongside your job, builds five kinds of capital in your career at once. And because there is no time lag between learning and management, they accumulate from your time in the programme — without waiting for completion.
Knowledge Capital
— the power to grasp management as structure.
Not fragments of business knowledge. IT strategy, leadership, human resources, change management, finance, innovation, digital marketing, global governance — eight domains, woven organically around IT into a single management perspective. With that perspective in hand, the management challenge before you appears not as an isolated problem, but as part of a structure.
Implementation Capital
— the power to convert learning into management.
In every module, your own business challenge is the subject of the assignment. You do not only learn the theory: you apply it to your company, and bring the results of practice back to the classroom for verification. This back-and-forth turns "I know" into "I can". The eight assignments in your hands a year on are practical management documents: analyses of the structure of your own challenges, and the paths to breakthrough you drew from them. Look back, and you can see, with your own eyes, the difference between who you were a year ago and who you are now. This is the core of the power of implementation in management that MBA Executive Award wants to deliver.
Technology Capital
— the power to make IT the language of management.
The programme's formal title is "MBA in Information Technology Management". All eight modules are designed with IT at the core of management. You come to command IT not as an "additional skill" but as the very basis of management judgement. With that power, the change technology brings appears to you not as a threat, but as an instrument of management.
Network Capital
— leaders of resolve, raising one another.
Your fellow participants are working business leaders, holding a degree from a four-year university or above and at least three years of professional experience. Yet the essence of selection is not the lines of anyone's history. It is the will: what do you want to change in your business? Because this is a place gathered on resolve and will, classroom discussion turns at once into management knowledge, and a network of mutual support grows — one that continues beyond completion.
And this learning connects, further, to the community Shibuya Web3 University has built: practitioners taking on the social implementation of blockchain, generative AI and Web3. While learning management systematically, you can draw frontier technology trends and business models into your own management challenges. A field of practice you could never meet on paper is right beside you.
Pathway Capital
— the path to further evolution is already open.
The power you gain in the MBA's one year holds complete value in itself. And then, as practice deepens, when a deeper question takes root — "why does this challenge repeat, structurally?" "how do I connect my business experience to the challenges of society as a whole?" — the path that raises that question into two years of research is the DBA. The same quality standards and the same community carry straight over. This connection is not an obligation: it is an answer to the intellectual impulse that takes root in you.
The foundation beneath the five capitals — UITM × Shibuya Web3 University.
At the base of all these capitals stands UITM's quality assurance. UITM provides quality assurance and the curriculum, and Shibuya Web3 University Co., Ltd. operates the programme in Japan. The academic rigour of a formally accredited European institution of higher education, and the practical strength of an organisation standing on the front line of technology's social implementation. Where these two are laid over one another, you complete — while remaining in Japan — learning backed by UITM's quality assurance.
A completion certificate is not a proof of the past.
The five capitals you build in this year are the foundation for standing up under a responsibility for the future: the evolution of consciousness, and the power of implementation in management. Not to amass knowledge, but to train the vessel that wields it, and change reality. In you, who have never stopped running, lies another self, not yet awakened.
Turning knowledge into the power to move the future.
Be Conscious. Be Executive.
